A large number of processes on a micro level (e.g. actions, statements, movements) which are summed up into a macro level process (see scale). Consciousness may be said to be the aggregate of all movements in the nervous system (or the body). An ecosystem may be considered as an aggregate of everything that lives in a specific area. Society may be said to be an aggregate of all interactions of its members (Barth). I may be the aggregate of all my relationships (Bateson).
